I was given my first camera at age 12. I knew right away that photography was what I wanted to do when I grew up.
I graduated from the Alberta College of Art's photographic arts program and moved to San Francisco where I spent the next 12 years working in a photography gallery, exhibiting my work in galleries, assisting fashion photographers and eventually finding and falling in love with wedding photography. It started by photographing a friend's wedding, I was hooked right away. I loved the excitement of weddings, the emotions, the elegance, the humour and the joy.
I spent 5 years photographing weddings in Napa Valley and San Francisco. When I met my husband I brought him to Canada to show him where I had grown up. I took him on the Banff gondola. He turned to me and said "how could you ever leave this place?" that sentence began our move home to Canada. We've been in Banff for 3 years now and feel very fortunate to be living in such a beautiful place.
There is something re-affirming about photographing weddings.
I find inspiration in seeing two people totally in love making a
commitment to each other surrounded by the people they love and who love them.

I've found with experience that babies are most
comfortable being photographed in their own
home.
Baby portrait sessions are $500 plus gst and include;
*up to 2 hours of photography time in your home or
favourite outdoor location
*travel to Canmore, Cochrane, Calgary and Lake Louise
*online proofing of all of your photographs that you
may choose to share with your friends and family
*a DVD of all of your photographs (usually about 35-40 images)
with printing permissions.
Due to a busy wedding schedule baby portraits
can only be booked on weekdays.

Engagement sessions are a fantastic way for you to
get comfortable being in front of the camera and to
get to know me as a photographer. Pictures from
an engagement session can be used to create custom
postage stamps for your weddding invitations or
custom signable guest books. Ask me to see a sample
of the guestbooks that I design for couples.
Engagement sessions are photographed on location
in Banff.
